I work with book development in five stages: find your story spine, outline your book, craft your proposal and flesh out your manuscript, as well as developmental editing. 

I've witnessed over time that once you've found your story spine, other details slide into place. It's like narrative chiropractic. For this reason, doing some initial story spine work is highly recommended when signing up with me. 

We'll keep one eye on your unique philosophy and point of view, and the other on your reader's arc of change or heroine's journey. Getting this balance right is pivotal: it gives your book the best chance at awakening your readers' minds to new possibilities.
